Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Santa Monica Vikings (Santa Monica, CA) and the visiting Bishop Montgomery Knights (Torrance, CA), witnessed Santa Monica's softball squad tip Bishop Montgomery by a count of 13-7.

The Vikings now sport a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Culver City for a Bay match on Wednesday, March 16.
