The Pleasant Valley Raiders (Jacksonville, AL) softball the host Cleburne County Tigers (Heflin, AL), 2-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Raiders (9-5) will now prepare for their bout against Glencoe (Glencoe, AL). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league bout with a 8-1 record. In their last bout, Glencoe held off Randolph County (Wedowee, AL), 5-3, in a non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Munford for a 4A Area 7 bout on Thursday, March 17. Cleburne County will confront a Lions squad coming off a 10-4 non-league win over Saks (Anniston, AL). The Lions record now stands at 6-5.
