Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA), 22-0 in a league challenge.

The Parrots now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Northridge Academy for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 14. Poly will battle a Pumas squad coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA). The Pumas record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Grant falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Arleta (Arleta, CA) to battle the Mustangs in a East Valley challenge on Wednesday, March 16. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 4-1. Arleta won 6-3 in their recent league challenge against Poly (Sun Valley, CA)
