North Carolina High School Softball - Holmes bounces Perquimans

March 11, 2022: Edenton, NC 27932

Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC), 14-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Aces now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Manteo for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A challenge on Tuesday, March 15. Holmes will battle a Redskins squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA). The Redskins record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Perquimans falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC) to battle the Colts in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 14. The Colts enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
