Mendota Aztecs (Mendota, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Roosevelt Rough Riders (Fresno, CA), 22-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Aztecs now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Immanuel for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 15. Mendota will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 14-1 non-league win over Firebaugh (Firebaugh, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Roosevelt falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Rough riders host Firebaugh (Firebaugh, CA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 12.
