Spectators at Friday's league match between the Odessa Bronchos (Odessa, TX) and the visiting San Angelo Central Bobcats (San Angelo, TX), witnessed Odessa's softball squad prevail over San Angelo Central by a count of 16-6.

The Bronchos now sport a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Midland Legacy for a 6A Region I District 2 match on Friday, March 18. Odessa will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to Frenship (Wolfforth, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, San Angelo Central moves to 8-6 on the season. The Bobcats host Midland (Midland, TX) to meet the Bulldogs in a 6A Region I District 2 match on Tuesday, March 15. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 7-4. Midland won 10-0 in their recent non-league match against Fort Stockton (Fort Stockton, TX)
