Randleman Tigers (Randleman, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC), 7-2 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Southwestern Randolph for a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, March 15. Randleman will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Asheboro (Asheboro, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Wheatmore falls to 4-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC) to battle the Wildcats in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, March 15. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 4-1. Eastern Randolph won 14-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Asheboro (Asheboro, NC)
