St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM), 12-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Sartans now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Piedra Vista for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 12. St. Pius X will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, West Mesa falls to 4-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM) to battle the Sundevils in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 12. The Sundevils enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Espanola Valley lost 14-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM)
