The Brantley County Herons baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Pierce County Bears to 0 in the Herons league victory on Saturday.
The Herons (9-4) will now prepare for their match against Vidalia (Vidalia, GA). The Indians go into the 2A Area 3 match with a 6-6 record.
The Bears (4-8) will now prepare for their match against Appling County (Baxley, GA). The Pirates go into the 2A Area 3 match with a 9-5 record. In their last match, Appling County tipped Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA), 7-0, in a league match.
