Alabama High School Baseball - Calera loses to Thompson

The Thompson Warriors baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Calera Eagles to 1 in the Warriors non-league victory on Saturday.
The Warriors (16-0) will now prepare for their match against Pell City (Pell City, AL). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Pell City was overwhelmed by Thompson (Alabaster, AL), 4-0, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Calera falls to 2-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Chilton County (Clanton, AL) to encounter the Tigers in a 6A Area 6 challenge on Tuesday, March 21. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. Chilton County lost 7-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Montevallo (Montevallo, AL)
