Alabama High School Baseball - Columbus defeats Russell County

Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Columbus Blue Devils (Columbus, GA) and the host Russell County Warriors (Seale, AL), saw Columbus's baseball squad beat Russell County by a margin of 10-3.

Coming up next, the Blue Devils play the Newnan Cougars (Newnan, GA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 14. Columbus will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 6-8 record after their 4-2 league win over Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA).

The Warriors now sport a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Carver for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 14. Russell County will play a Tigers squad coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Marion County (Buena Vista, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-8.
