The Pine Grove Panthers crushed the host Falkner Eagles baseball team by a count of 22-10 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Union for a 2A Region 1 bout on Tuesday, March 14. Pine Grove will face a Urchins team coming off a 7-4 league win over New Site (New Site, MS). The Urchins record now stands at 8-2.
Next, the Eagles face the Baldwyn Bearcats (Baldwyn, MS) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 13. Falkner will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Bearcats enter the bout with a 2-4 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Biggersville (Corinth, MS).
