In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Pennington Tigers baseball team scored a nice 13-2 victory over the Locust Fork Hornets.
The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Victory Christian (Pell City, AL). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 2-0 record.
The Hornets (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Vinemont (Vinemont, AL). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Vinemont was overwhelmed by Fairview (Cullman, AL), 12-2, in a non-league game.
