Texas High School Baseball - Salado sneaks past Lorena

Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) and the visiting Lorena Leopards (Lorena, TX), saw Salado's baseball squad edge Lorena by a margin of 6-5.

Coming up next, the Eagles play the Franklin Lions (Franklin, TX) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 11. Salado will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 7-1 record after their 18-0 league win over Westwood (Palestine, TX).

The Leopards now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to McGregor for a 3A Region III District 19 battle on Tuesday, March 14. Lorena will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 17-1 non-league loss to Gatesville (Gatesville, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-6.
