Mississippi High School Baseball - Newton County loses to West Lauderdale

The West Lauderdale Knights baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Newton County Cougars to 2 in the Knights non-league victory on Saturday.
The Knights (6-0) will now prepare for their match against West Jones (Laurel, MS). The Mustangs go into the non-league match with a 5-2 record.
The Cougars (6-6) will now prepare for their match against Germantown (Madison, MS). The Mavericks go into the non-league match with a 8-3 record. In their last match, Germantown was overwhelmed by Oak Grove (Hattiesburg, MS), 4-1, in a non-league match.
