In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Scotlandville Hornets baseball team scored a tight 10-5 victory over the Southern Lab Kittens.
The Hornets (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Tara (Baton Rouge, LA). The Trojans go into the non-league game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Tara tipped Landry (New Orleans, LA), 21-2, in a non-league game.
The Kittens (2-2) will now prepare for their game against McKinley (Baton Rouge, LA). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, McKinley was overwhelmed by Patterson (Patterson, LA), 11-1, in a non-league game.
