In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Samueli Academy Firewolves volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Irvine Vaqueros.

The Firewolves (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Santa Ana (Santa Ana, CA). The Saints come into the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Santa Ana achieved victory over Orange (Orange, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Vaqueros clash with the Roosevelt Mustangs (Eastvale, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 11. Irvine will attempt to advance on its 4-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 9-3 record after their 3-2 league loss to Santiago (Corona, CA).
