The St. Mary Academy-Bay View Bengals (East Providence, RI) basketball felled the host Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI), 62-43 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bengals (18-7) will now prepare for their test against North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI). The Skippers go into the non-league test with a 23-3 record. In their last test, North Kingstown thwarted Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI), 58-46, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now own a 14-11 record.
