The Corona del Sol Aztecs softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Cienega Bobcats to 2 in the Aztecs non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Corona del Sol improves its record to 5-5 on the year. The Aztecs travel to Paradise Honors (Surprise, AZ) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league game on Saturday, March 11. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 12-3. Paradise Honors lost 14-1 in their recent non-league game against Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ)
In their next game, the Bobcats clash with the Tucson High Magnet School Badgers (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 15. Cienega will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Badgers come into the game with a 7-4 record after their 8-4 non-league win over Catalina Foothills (Tucson, AZ).
