New Mexico High School Softball - Mayfield knocked off by Organ Mountain

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Organ Mountain Knights (Las Cruces, NM) softball team overwhelmed the host Mayfield Trojans (Las Cruces, NM), by a margin of 13-5.
With the triumph, Organ Mountain moves its record to 8-1 on the year. The Knights host Deming (Deming, NM) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Friday, March 24. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 3-6.
In their next game, the Trojans play the Las Cruces Bulldawgs (Las Cruces, NM) in a 5A District 3 contest, on Monday, March 27. Mayfield will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record.
