The Covington-Douglas Wildcats baseball team (Covington, OK), was overwhelmed 14-9 in Monday's non-league outing with the visiting Glencoe Panthers (Glencoe, OK)
The Panthers now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ripley for a Cimarron Valley outing on Tuesday, March 12. Glencoe will face a Warriors team coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Shidler (Shidler, OK). The Warriors record now stands at 8-0.
Next, the Wildcats face the Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Mustangs (Waukomis, OK) in a Skeltur outing, on Tuesday, March 12. Covington-Douglas will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record.
