North Carolina High School Baseball - Pender can't hold off Hobbton

The Hobbton Wildcats baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Pender Patriots to 6 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Monday.

The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC). The Gators go into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Spring Creek edged Wayne Preparatory Academy (Goldsboro, NC), 8-3, in a non-league match.

The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their match against East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC). The Gators go into the Waccamaw 1A/2A match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, East Columbus edged Red Springs (Red Springs, NC), 4-0, in a non-league match.
