The St. John Eagles baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Scotlandville Hornets to 2 in the Eagles non-league victory on Monday.

The Eagles (10-4) will now prepare for their match against Central Private (Baker, LA). The Redhawks go into the non-league match with a 6-6 record. In their last match, Central Private was overwhelmed by St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA), 8-0, in a non-league match.

The Hornets (3-6) will now prepare for their match against Pine (Franklinton, LA). The Raiders go into the non-league match with a 8-5 record. In their last match, Pine was overwhelmed by East Jefferson (Metairie, LA), 9-5, in a non-league match.
