In Monday's non-league contest, the Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Chester Cyclones (Chester, SC), by a margin of 10-0.
With the triumph, Catawba Ridge moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Copperheads travel to York (York, SC) to play the Cougars in a contest on Tuesday, March 12. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 1-0.
In their next game, the Cyclones play the Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC) in a contest, on Thursday, March 14. Chester will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
