Virginia High School Lacrosse - Matoaca drops to Monacan

March 11, 2024: Chesterfield, VA 23838

Monacan Chiefs (Richmond, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Matoaca Warriors (Chesterfield, VA), 17-0 in a non-league battle.

The Chiefs now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Midlothian for a Dominion battle on Wednesday, March 13.

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Patrick Henry Patriots (Ashland, VA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 18. Matoaca will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Patriots come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 0-0 non-league Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA).
