The Buna Cougars softball team scored 5 runs and limited the host East Chambers Buccaneers to 2 in the Cougars league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Buna improves its record to 2-4 on the year. The Cougars host Anahuac (Anahuac, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a 3A Region III District 22 game on Tuesday, March 12. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 5-6.

In their next game, the Buccaneers clash with the Orangefield Bobcats (Orangefield, TX) in a 3A Region III District 22 game, on Tuesday, March 12. East Chambers will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record.
