Whitney Wildcats (Cerritos, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Cabrillo Jaguars (Long Beach, CA), 21-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Costa Mesa for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 12. Whitney will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 11-10 non-league win over Rosemead (Rosemead, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Cabrillo falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Millikan (Long Beach, CA) to battle the Rams in a Moore challenge on Tuesday, March 12. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 6-6. Millikan won 12-0 in their recent league challenge against Compton (Compton, CA)
