The Caledonia Cavaliers softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting West Point Green Wave to 1 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Caledonia improves its record to 4-4 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Louisville (Louisville, MS) to clash with the Wildcats in a 4A Region 3 game on Tuesday, March 19. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 1-2.

In their next game, the Green Wave clash with the New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS) in a 5A Region 1 game, on Tuesday, March 19. West Point will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Trojans come into the game with a 1-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over South Panola (Batesville, MS).
