Carbon Hill Bulldogs (Carbon Hill, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Phil Campbell Bobcats (Phil Campbell, AL), 13-2 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Haleyville for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 12. Carbon Hill will face a Lions squad coming off a 9-5 non-league loss to Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL). The Lions record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, Phil Campbell falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Winfield (Winfield, AL) to face the Pirates in a 3A Area 12 challenge on Tuesday, March 12. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 5-0. Winfield won 17-0 in their recent non-league challenge against South Lamar (Millport, AL)
