The Central Wildcats softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Lexington Golden Bears to 0 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Central improves its record to 7-9 on the year. The Wildcats host Wilson (Florence, AL) to clash with the Warriors in a 4A Area 16 game on Tuesday, March 12. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 7-5. Wilson won 1-0 in their recent non-league game against Mars Hill Bible (Florence, AL)

In their next game, the Golden Bears clash with the Hatton Hornets (Town Creek, AL) in a 2A Area 16 game, on Thursday, March 14. Lexington will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Hornets come into the game with a 3-4 record after their 20-0 league win over Sheffield (Sheffield, AL).
