Copperas Cove Bulldawgs (Copperas Cove, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Harker Heights Knights (Harker Heights, TX), 15-2 in a league challenge.

The Bulldawgs now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Weiss for a 6A Region II District 12 challenge on Tuesday, March 12. Copperas Cove will face a Wolves squad coming off a 17-10 league win over Bryan (Bryan, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 9-11.

With the loss, Harker Heights falls to 11-13 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Hutto (Hutto, TX) to face the Hippos in a 6A Region II District 12 challenge on Tuesday, March 12. The Hippos enter the challenge with a record of 14-10. Hutto won 11-8 in their recent league challenge against Temple (Temple, TX)
