The Sabinal Yellowjackets softball team scored 19 runs and limited the visiting D'Hanis Cowboys to 16 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Sabinal moves its record to 4-8 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Falls City (Falls City, TX) to clash with the Beavers in a 2A Region IV District 30 game on Tuesday, March 12. The Beavers come into the game with a record of 5-7. Falls City won 23-5 in their recent league game against Brackett (Brackettville, TX)

In their next game, the Cowboys clash with the Medina Bobcats (Medina, TX) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 19. D'Hanis will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Bobcats come into the game with a 10-5 record after their 18-8 non-league win over Randolph (Universal City, TX).
