The Eastland Mavericks softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Millsap Bulldogs to 2 in the Mavericks league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Eastland improves its record to 10-6 on the year. The Mavericks travel to Breckenridge (Breckenridge, TX) to clash with the Buckaroos in a 3A Region I District 8 game on Wednesday, March 13. The Buckaroos come into the game with a record of 13-9. Breckenridge lost 12-6 in their recent league game against Comanche (Comanche, TX)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Dublin Lions (Dublin, TX) in a 3A Region I District 8 game, on Thursday, March 14. Millsap will attempt to improve on its 15-7 season record. The Lions come into the game with a 1-9 record after their 20-2 league loss to Peaster (Peaster, TX).
