North Carolina High School Softball - Patton topped by Freedom

March 11, 2024: Morganton, NC 28655

The Freedom Patriots softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Patton Panthers to 1 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Freedom moves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Patriots travel to East Rutherford (Forest City, NC) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 13. The Cavaliers come into the game with a record of 0-4. East Rutherford lost 12-6 in their recent league game against Chase (Forest City, NC)

In their next game, the Panthers play the Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 12. Patton will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Pioneers come into the game with a 2-1 record after their 22-5 non-league win over Hickory (Hickory, NC).
