With the triumph, South Grand Prairie moves its record to 8-11 on the year. The Warriors travel to Arlington (Arlington, TX) to play the Colts in a 6A Region I District 8 contest on Tuesday, March 12. The Colts come into the contest with a record of 8-8.

In their next game, the Gophers play the Martin Warriors (Arlington, TX) in a 6A Region I District 8 contest, on Tuesday, March 19. Grand Prairie will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 10-4 record after their 15-0 league win over Sam Houston (Arlington, TX).
