The Vero Beach Indians softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds to 4 in the Indians non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Vero Beach moves its record to 6-3 on the year. The Indians travel to Central (Fort Pierce, FL) to clash with the Cobras in a 7A District 11 game on Tuesday, March 12. The Cobras come into the game with a record of 1-6. Central lost 17-12 in their recent non-league game against Martin County (Stuart, FL)

In their next game, the Greyhounds clash with the John Carroll Catholic Rams (Fort Pierce, FL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 12. Lincoln Park Academy will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Rams come into the game with a 5-3 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Key West (Key West, FL).
