Louisiana High School Softball - Maurepas bounces Port Allen

The Maurepas Wolves routed the visiting Port Allen Pelicans softball squad by a count of 17-7 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Wolves (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, Dunham was routed by St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA), 6-0, in a non-league battle.

The Pelicans now sport a 0-14 record. They play next when they travel to Parkview Baptist for a 3A District 6 outing on Tuesday, March 12. Port Allen will battle a Eagles team coming off a 24-15 non-league loss to Assumption (Napoleonville, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-5.
