North Carolina High School Baseball - Alleghany loses to South Stokes

The Alleghany Trojans baseball squad (Sparta, NC), was overwhelmed 16-4 in Tuesday's league contest with the host South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC)

With the triumph, South Stokes moves its record to 4-3 on the season. The Sauras travel to McMichael (Mayodan, NC) to confront the Phoenix in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 12. The Phoenix come into the contest with a record of 4-1. McMichael lost 9-6 in their recent non-league contest against South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC)

The Trojans now possess a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hibriten for a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 12. Alleghany will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 4-1.
