In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Alpine Bucks baseball team scored a close 7-1 triumph over the Monahans Loboes.
With the triumph, Alpine moves its record to 8-4 on the season. The Bucks host McCamey (McCamey, TX) to confront the Badgers in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 15. The Badgers come into the contest with a record of 1-3. McCamey lost 6-4 in their recent non-league contest against Kermit (Kermit, TX)
The Loboes now possess a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Stockton for a 4A Region I District 3 contest on Tuesday, March 18. Monahans will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Midland (Midland, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 9-6.
