In Tuesday's league game, the host Cairo Syrupmakers baseball team scored a nice 11-1 win over the Westover Patriots.

The Syrupmakers (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Miller County (Colquitt, GA). The Pirates come into the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Miller County beat Terrell County (Dawson, GA), 10-0, in a league contest.

The Patriots now possess a 0-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cairo for a AAA Region 1 contest on Thursday, March 13. Westover will confront a Syrupmakers squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Miller County (Colquitt, GA). The Syrupmakers record now stands at 5-6.
