The Sabinal Yellowjackets (Sabinal, TX) baseball trounced the visiting Charlotte Trojans (Charlotte, TX), 14-4 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Yellowjackets now own a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host La Pryor for a 2A Region IV District 31 challenge on Wednesday, March 12. Sabinal will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 14-13 non-league win over Knippa (Knippa, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-6.

With the defeat, Charlotte drops to 4-5 on the year. The Trojans host Three Rivers (Three Rivers, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 14. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Three Rivers won 18-9 in their recent league challenge against Brackett (Brackettville, TX)
