With the triumph, Currituck County advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Knights host Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA) to battle the Saints in a non-league match on Thursday, March 13. The Saints come into the match with a record of 2-0. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy won 9-3 in their recent non-league match against St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA)

The Bears now have a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Currituck County for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A match on Friday, March 14. Hertford County will battle a Knights squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA). The Knights record now stands at 3-3.
