The Hanceville Bulldogs baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Locust Fork Hornets to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now hold a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host Good Hope for a 4A Area 13 test on Saturday, March 15. Hanceville will play a Raiders team coming off a 9-5 non-league loss to Fairview (Cullman, AL). The Raiders record now stands at 6-3.
With the defeat, Locust Fork drops to 4-8 on the year. The Hornets travel to Brewer (Somerville, AL) to play the Patriots in a non-league test on Friday, March 14. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 6-5.
