California High School Baseball - Highlands loses to Rio Vista

Rio Vista Rams (Rio Vista, CA) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Highlands Scots (North Highlands, CA), 17-3 in a league match.

With the triumph, Rio Vista moves its record to 3-3 on the season. The Rams travel to Leroy Greene Academy (Sacramento, CA) to confront the Lions in a non-league match on Wednesday, March 12. The Lions come into the match with a record of 4-4. Leroy Greene Academy won 17-7 in their recent non-league match against Western Sierra Collegiate Academy (Rocklin, CA)

The Scots now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodland Christian for a Sierra Delta League match on Tuesday, March 18. Highlands will confront a Cardinals squad coming off a 12-0 league win over Vacaville Christian (Vacaville, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-1.
