The Kennedale Wildcats baseball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Venus Bulldogs to 0 in the Wildcats league win on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Alvarado for a 4A Region II District 10 test on Friday, March 14. Kennedale will clash with a Indians team coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Diamond Hill-Jarvis (Fort Worth, TX). The Indians record now stands at 5-4.

With the defeat, Venus drops to 5-5 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Hillsboro (Hillsboro, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a 4A Region II District 10 test on Friday, March 14. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 4-6. Hillsboro lost 9-0 in their recent non-league test against Ferris (Ferris, TX)
