Texas High School Baseball - Southwest edges MacArthur

March 11, 2025: San Antonio, TX 78252

The Southwest Dragons baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting MacArthur Brahmas to 1 in the Dragons league win on Tuesday.

The Dragons now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Harlandale for a 5A Region IV District 28 test on Friday, March 14. Southwest will clash with a Indians team coming off a 3-2 league loss to McCollum (San Antonio, TX). The Indians record now stands at 1-11.

With the defeat, MacArthur drops to 6-4 on the year. The Brahmas host Johnson (San Antonio, TX) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 12. The Jaguars go into the test with a record of 3-4. Johnson lost 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Caney Creek (Conroe, TX)
