Tennessee High School Baseball - Smith County defeats Macon County

The Smith County Owls (Carthage, TN) baseball the host Macon County Tigers (Lafayette, TN), 9-4 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Owls now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Gordonsville for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 14. Smith County will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Trousdale County (Hartsville, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Macon County drops to 3-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to Springfield (Springfield, TN) to clash with the Yellow Jackets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 13. The Yellow Jackets go into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Springfield won 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against White House (White House, TN)
