The North Henderson Knights baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Smoky Mountain Mustangs to 3 in the Knights league win on Tuesday.

The Knights now hold a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Tuscola for a Mountain Seven 3A test on Friday, March 14. North Henderson will play a Mountaineers team coming off a 11-1 league win over Franklin (Franklin, NC). The Mountaineers record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Smoky Mountain drops to 5-1 on the year. The Mustangs travel to West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC) to play the Falcons in a Mountain Seven 3A test on Friday, March 14. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 5-3. West Henderson won 16-5 in their recent non-league test against Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC)
