In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Pell City Panthers baseball team scored a close 8-3 win over the Piedmont Bulldogs.
The Panthers (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Moody (Moody, AL). The Blue Devils go into the non-league game with a 9-6 record. In their last game, Moody was overwhelmed by Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL), 14-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Bulldogs play the Handley Tigers (Roanoke, AL) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 12. Piedmont will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record.
