The Piedmont Community Charter Patriots baseball team scored 19 runs and held the host Sugar Creek Charter Wildcats to 1 in the Patriots league win on Tuesday.

The Patriots now hold a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Community Christian Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, March 13. Piedmont Community Charter will play a Warriors team coming off a 15-3 league win over Lake Lure Classical Academy (Lake Lure, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Sugar Creek Charter drops to 0-2 on the year. The Wildcats host Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC) to play the Mariners in a Metro Eight 1A test on Tuesday, March 18. The Mariners go into the test with a record of 0-3. Jackson Day lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC)
